JUSTIN OSMOND

The second son of Merrill &
Mary Osmond was born in Provo, Utah. He has experienced a severe
hearing loss from birth and has been raised wearing hearing
instruments. Justin comes from a very musical background as he got
started on the violin at the age of four and later added the viola,
the drums, and the piano. At the age of 16, he began making music
with his family and siblings all over the Rocky Mountain region,
plus a regular schedule of dates over a four-year period at The
Osmond Family Theater in Branson, Missouri. Mr. Osmond earned a
prestigious Sterling Scholarship in music to attend Utah State
University where he eventually earned a Bachelors degree in
Marketing. During his educational studies, he was placed on the
Honorary Dean’s List for two consecutive years and was accepted into
the National Golden Key Society, among other distinguished
honors. He is also very proud to represent the BSA as an Eagle
Scout.
At this time, Justin is the Public Relations
Coordinator/Spokesperson for The Starkey Hearing Foundation, and has
recently returned from trips to Africa, Peru, Mexico, Puerto Rico,
Belize, El Salvador, Columbia, and Venezuela, among other countries.
He has helped The Starkey Hearing Foundation establish more than 100
humanitarian missions a year and providing more than
255,000 hearing
aids to under-privileged children all over the United States and
countries worldwide.
Mr.
Osmond has also participated and helped
raise millions of dollars to help promote hearing health awareness
through the annual ‘So the World May Hear’ Gala and he continues to
touch the lives of the hearing impaired in many special and
contributing ways, helping them to reach their greatest aspirations
in life.
Justin lives by his personal motto: “I may have
a hearing loss, but that hearing loss doesn’t have me.”
