"This is where I encountered my very first glimpse of a better hearing smile. When I saw the change that occurred in Robert's life, it changed mine to the point that I decided right there and then that I would offer my time, energy, and services to helping the hearing impaired wherever I go. This took place when I was 14 years old during my Eagle Scout project."
